The pair of Piggies on the pigtures are Ginger & Bread. They were reserved 2 weeks ago due to be picked up today in the evening but as I haven't had a confirmation from the person who wanted to adopt them it looks like they will be available again. They got their bath today anyway and now they are grazing outside in a small pen :)

Meet Pixie, our new girl, she joined us on Tuesday evening. She lived all on her own and her owner decided to let her go rather than get another Guinea Pig. I tried her with two Teddy sows without much success, it all ended up in squeaky fights (yes, sows do fight as well!). My third choice was Polly and it looks like we are third time lucky, so far so good :) If the girls get on nicely long term they will be available for adoption towards the end of October. Pictures below shows Polly and Pixie in a hutch. Johnny and Cash, those two cute as a button Piggies are also waiting to be adopted, they more pairs we rehome the more we can take in later. Our most recent take in just at the beginning of September was 12 Piggies from an ex breeder and 1 from a pet home, they all deserve a better future and a loving family. All available pairs are featured on the web site. Please click on the photo to access profile page for Johnny & Cash. Thanks for looking :) Profile page for Naveen and Nandu is now ready, they are the first pair of 12 recently surrendered Piggies available for adoption. Yesterday they had a bath, trim and nail clipping done and few photos were taken, pity they don't show how truly beautiful this pair is. They have to be seen in flesh to be fully appreciated. We are looking for a permanent pet home for them. Please click on the picture to open their profile page with lots more pictures, information about adoption rules and how to contact us or just send us an e-mail [email protected] and make an appointment to see and adopt them :) Just a gallery of pictures of the 13 new Piggies in Piggy Kingdom, they all arrived on Saturday the 7th of September, 12 of them from an ex breeder and one from a pet home, all in good health, soon some of them will be offered for adoption.
Somebody got bored with those two lovely young boars and they ended up with us. Hopefully they will join a new family fairly soon, their age is estimated to be somwhere between 4 and 6 months, they haven't been handled much in their previous home but we are working on that. Michael is the ginger piggy, Jackson is the tri coloured one. More pictures on their profile page, please click on the photo to open their page. Those boys will be ok homed in an outdoor hutch providing they get enough attention each day and won't just be sitting there all left to themselves, having said that we always prefer homes where piggies are kept indoors simply because they are more likely to become family members rather than just pets. We are looking for a permanent home for them, not one that would announce in few months they can't take care of them any longer, should anything unexpected happen, as usual we are always happy to have the piggies back in need be. |
